Lovely hotel!!! My wife and I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and English speaking, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We enjoyed a delicious Turkish breakfast with plenty of choices. Plus, the hotel is conveniently located near the bazaar, harbor, and high-quality shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel for its great service and excellent value for money.

Our rooms had heavy cigarette smoke smell, and there were no smoke-free rooms. Street noise and barking dogs kept up several members of our party.

Rooms with streetview rather noisy, slight smell in the bathroom but nothing really to worry about.

The staff at Konak Saray Hotel was wonderful and very helpful. We would use that hotel again in an instant. The location is perfect for capturing the feel of old Turkey.

Our blankets were skimpy, but I know we could have remedied that by letting them know we wanted more. We just didn’t feel like making the effort.

Great location for tourism-oriented travellers. Well-renovated old Ottoman house with a great atmosphere. Large and comfortable room with a "real" shower behind a glass door and window. Felt looked after, no reason to complain.

It's extremely well-equipped, the room has everything from a fridge to one-time slippers. Very clean and comfortable. Very central, 5mins walk from the main train station. The WiFi worked perfectly. It totally deserves four stars except you don't give four stars to a hotel in the "ghetto".

If they try to send you to their 3-star Agora hotel -- don't accept, it's way worse! Keep in mind the street is main like it looks on the map but main for the poor, messy area called Cankaya. If you're uncomfortable with areas that look like ghettos, this is not for you. It's also pretty noisy with people talking on the street all the time. My room also smelled like cigarettes and I don't know if the smell was from past guests smoking or from the restaurant that was right across my door.

The value for money at Konak Saray was exceptional, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel's location was convenient, close to bus offices, the main train station, ancient ruins, and the bustling bazaar quarter. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their English skills made communication easy.

The breakfast option could have been improved by offering a wider variety of choices.

I really liked the hotel staff. Very helpful and professional. We had a disagreement with the car rental company (they wanted more money). The staff translated for us. Very gracious. Thank you!

Yes, the location at night is not great, but very close to train station--Basmane. Bathroom did have a strange odor. Very close to mosque. Best variety of breakfast items in Turkey. Would stay there again!

The daily buffet breakfast was a feast fit for a queen, with a wide variety of fresh fruit. I had a great time lounging in the intimate reading area with my cup of tea.

Oh, and let's not forget the delightful sewer smell in the bathroom. It really added a touch of elegance to my stay.

Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. There was a little mix up with my room on the 1st night but it was all sorted with no problems at all. Rooms comfortable and in a good location for where we needed to be. We were at Petanqe and the International fair. There were many staying in the area and by the sounds of it our Hotel was by far the bast.
